Due to its high protective properties, Tyvek® high-density polyethylene is used for sewing protective overalls and accessories.
We are the official distributor of Dupont™ Tyvek® material in Turkey. We always have Tyvek® article 1422A, which is used by DuPont for the production of protective suits with a degree of protection: Category III, Type 5-B and 6-B, EN 14126 (barrier protection against infectious agents), EN 1073-2 (protection against radiation contamination).
Overalls sewn from Tyvek® cloth (article 1422A) are suitable for protecting medical personnel from the penetration of biological agents (viruses, bacteria, fungi and spores), preventing the transmission of infectious agents when working with infected patients, in bacteriological laboratories, as well as protection against general industrial pollution and mechanical influences, from chemical factors (acid concentration up to 40%, alkalis concentration up to 40%) during the conduct of surgical operations, examinations and other manipulations.
During the pandemic, the demand for ppe of limited use from a high-quality reliable material, such as 100% polyethylene Tyvek®, has grown.
