ENVELOPES
The unique structure of Tyvek® was the basis for the creation of the most durable envelopes, providing the highest protection against punctures, tearing and moisture. Very light envelopes reduce the cost of postal correspondence.
Already in 1967, envelopes began to be made from Tyvek® in the United States, and by 1970 the demand for them, due to their high strength, low weight and "prestigious" appearance (paints on glossy white Tyvek® look bright and lively), grew rapidly. Such envelopes are used by several public and private postal departments and delivery services.
For the production of envelopes, the article 1056K is most often used.
